This past Christmas, I was gifted an amazing mermaid vase I found at atwestend.com. It is so beautiful, but I can’t quite bring myself to fill it with water and watch as the flower stems crud up the inside of her. My solution? Turn her into a lamp! I’m a bit nervous about it, but, I think with the help of DIYlife and this easy instructional video hosted by celebrity carpenter Eric Stromer, I’ll be able to do it, no problem.
