I know many “gadget geeks” in my life and am often entertained by their zest for all things mechanical and functional. Today’s “DIY Quick-Tip” is no exception, in fact, it is something I might soon find inside our own tool chest. It is called the “nail assist”, a fail-safe nail guide gadget that allows the user to both control the angle and sure insertion of a nail without fear of bending it or the note of a sheer-pained wail after smashing an in-the-way-finger.

I must admit, this feels a bit wimpy. The tried and true “needle-nose pliers” technique where you simply hold the nail up by the head and hammer from there seems…hmm…more legit. What do you think?
