A friend of mine had a sudden epiphany this past week during a recent “beach hang”. After doing some mental math, he jumped up from the sand and exclaimed, “I’m a New Year’s Eve baby!” Well, I doubt his exact-to-the-day calculations are sound, but, the possibility does exist. So, in honor of my friend and all you August “New Year’s Eve” babies (and parents-to-be), I’ve posted this darling DIY project, where you can create a newborn nook out of a closet. I especially love the scalloped paint detail and pop of color. It’s just so…cozy.
