To bring this dish to the next level, add a couple slices of QUALITY bacon – there’s nothing like baked bacon, ya know! Top it off with a cup ‘a Joe, green tea or OJ, and you’ve got yourself (AND your kiddos) a weep-it’s-SO-good breakfast prepared for your Saturday AND Sunday mornings!
Ingredients:
• 1 whole grain baguette
• 8 whole eggs
• 8 egg whites
• 2 cups low fat milk
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/3 cup of REAL maple syrup
• 2 cups blueberries – fresh or frozen
• 1/3 cup of sliced almonds
• 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
