What happens when you meld art with recycling? Artcycling, of course! That’s what happened to this VW Bus (anyone wanna take a guess at the year?…I’m thinking 1972 by the looks of the rims) turned pool table which, after the removal of the engine and gears, is registered with the Ohio state DMV as a trailer. This head-turner is a fantastic example of how we can “upcycle” ordinary objects (even as big as a bus!) and create something incredibly unique and fantastic.
This VW pool table comes equipped with its own storage for cues, chalk, triangle, and brush.
The craftsmanship is quite refined and includes a regulation felt-top, pockets (sans return), and detailed woodwork and inlays.
The “work-arounds” would include the front end, which protrudes about one foot requiring players to do a hefty lean when shooting from this position, and leveling the table…no guarantees there, unless you’ve got yourself one perfect asphalt layer!
Okay, now…Rack ’em!!!
